CBI arrests Naval Commander for accepting bribe in Mumbai

Mumbai (Maharashtra), Dec 1, (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a Commander and Administrative Officer of Naval Civilian Housing Colony in Mumbai for accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000.
Mohammed Hussain Ajammudin Mujawar was arrested on Friday and was subsequently produced before a Mumbai court that remanded him to one-day judicial custody i.e. till December 1.
On the basis of a complaint, a case has been registered under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. The complainant, in his complaint, alleged that the accused demanded an illegal gratification of Rs. 25,000 from him for giving permission to run a tuition classes in 'Sakhi Cell' & 'Sahayika' at National Coalition On Health Care (NCHC), Kanjurmarg.
Following the complaint, CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed. The probe agency also conducted raids on the residence of the accused where it recovered incriminating documents.(ANI)
