Delhi Customs Zone observes 'Vigilance Awareness Week'

New Delhi [India], November 6 (ANI): The Delhi Customs Zone organised a session on the theme 'My Vision-corruption Free India' as a part of the "Vigilance Awareness Week" at Indira Gandhi International Airport's Udaan Bhawan in New Delhi.
It was attended by special secretary and Member of Central Board of Excise and Customs S. Ramesh, CVO of CBEC R.K. Bharthwal, Chief Commissioner of Customs Delhi zone Sunil Kumar Sawhney and other senior officers.
Dr. T.M. Bhasin, Vigilance commissioner administered the pledge to maintain integrity and highest standards of probity by the officers and the staff of the Delhi Customs Zone exhorted the officers and staff to carry out their official duties without any fear or favour maintaining highest standards of integrity.
The Vigilance Awareness Week is observed to encourage all stakeholders to collectively participate in the fight against corruption and to raise public awareness regarding the existence, causes, gravity and the threat posed by corruption.(ANI)
