ECHS launches 'Complaint and Litigation Reduction Scheme' to increase focus on formulation of caring policy

New Delhi [India], Sept. 4 (ANI): With an aim to increase the focus on formulation of caring policy, Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) on Monday launched 'Complaint and Litigation Reduction Scheme (CLRS)'.

The ECHS committee has invited all the stake holders including veterans and their dependants, ECHS employees at all echelons, hospitals and other service providers for direct communication with Central Org ECHS to reduce the complaints and litigation.

The scheme is brought in action to assist to increased focus on formulation of caring policy and implementation initiatives preserving the time and resources of the army veterans, who have served the nation in a selfless manner.

ECHS has been introduced by the government of India from in April 2003.

It is a publicly funded medicare scheme for those who are ex-servicemen and pensioners and their eligible dependants, and provide medical care through out-patient treatment at 227 Polyclinics all over India. (ANI)
