Noida (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Feb. 03 (ANI): The fourth accused was apprehended on Saturday in connection with the death of a 14-year-old student at Jeevan Jyoti school in Delhi's Khajuri Khas.
The class 9student was found in an unconscious state inside the school premises on February 1. He was declared brought dead when taken to a hospital.
Earlier, three students were detained by the police in connection with the same case.
The police registered a case against the accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) after scanning the CCTV footage of the school.
According to police, the video footage showed that five students, including the deceased, were seen fighting inside the school bathroom.
"We have found that he (deceased) had a fight with four students. He fell down after he received punches during the fight and died later," Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast) Ajit K Singla told ANI. (ANI)
