Indian Coast Guard ship rescues six crew members of sinking vessel, one still missing

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Mar 18 (ANI): Indian Coast Guard ship on Monday saved the lives of six out of the seven crew members who were on board on a sinking tug boat, Revti.
As per an official statement, a distress call was received from Tug Revti on Monday morning after which Indian Coast Guard search?query=Ship">Ship Amartya, a fast patrol vessel on surveillance mission was diverted to undertake search and search?query=rescue">rescue mission, immediately.
The vessel was bound for Tarapur from Mumbai. The recovered crew has been provided with necessary first aid and their condition is presently stable.
Meanwhile, a sea-air coordinated search operation has been launched to find one missing member of the crew.
