Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Nov 25 (ANI): After backing an ordinance for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, one of the litigants in the Babri Masjid case Mohammad Iqbal Ansari has said that there was no reason to fear the Vishwa Hindu Parishad's (VHP) Dharm Sabha organised in Ayodhya on Sunday.
"Whatever is happening in Ayodhya is all through political parties, and under a system, I don't have any problem. The government will do what it deems fit. I don't have a problem with anything. We believe in the law and the government. They will do what is right. There is nothing to be scared of Dharm Sabha. The government has made proper arrangements. Security is in place," Iqbal told ANI.
Uttar Pradesh Police have heavily deployed security purposes along with a legion of senior officers to monitor the law and order situation in Ayodhya. The team includes one ADGP, one DIG, three SSPs, ten ASPs, 21 DSPs, 160 Inspectors, 700 Constables, and 42 companies of PAC, five companies of the RAF, ATS Commandos and drone cameras.
RSS, VHP and Shiv Sena are organizing events in Ayodhya, Nagpur, and Bengaluru to muster support for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya and mount pressure on the government to facilitate the temple construction, which is currently sub-judice in the Supreme Court. (ANI)
