Rajasthan: Express train derails near Jaipur, No casualties reported

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], Feb 1 (ANI): The Dayodaya Express superfast train running between Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh and Ajmer in Rajasthan derailed near Jaipur on Friday, officials said. No casualties or injuries were, however, reported from the incident.
 “There was something on the railway track and to avoid it we applied emergency brake and managed to control the speed and movement of the train. An engine and one coach have derailed. No one was injured,” Loco pilot KR Meena said.
The derailment occurred around 1 pm, police said.
 “Around 1 o’clock we received information the Dayodaya Express has derailed. Most of the passengers were bound for Ajmer and they were evacuated from the place. No injuries and no causalities have been reported,” DCP Rahul Jain said.  (ANI)
