Raman Singh expresses grief over death of pilgrims in Assam

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], September 20 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Wednesday expressed his grief over the death of two pilgrims who died in a road accident in Assam">Assam.

The incident took place when the pilgrims were returning from Guwahati's Kamakhya Temple.

Earlier in the day, Raman Singh also had a telephonic conversation with Assam">Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, requesting him to help and assist his pilgrims who are still in Assam">Assam.

Meanwhile, Sonowal further assured all possible help and assistance to his state people.

The Kamakhya Temple organizes a four-day annual Ambubachi Mela; where pilgrims thong the temple from different parts of the country. (ANI)
