Search to locate 2 missing Army personnel continues in Kinnaur

Kinnaur (Himachal Pradesh) [India], Mar 12 (ANI): Search operation is underway on the 21st day, near the site of the avalanche at Namgya area of Kinnaur district, where six Army men were trapped on February 20.
The bodies of four out of the six jawans have been recovered so far, but the army men are still untraceable. They have been identified as Arjun Kumar and Videsh Chand.
On February 20, six army men out of a total of 16 who had started their journey from Namgya to Shipkila to repair a water supply line, were hit by an avalanche in Pooh sub-division of Kinnaur district.
The search operations are being carried out by over 300 personnel of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Border Roads Organisation (BRO), Snow and Avalanche Study Establishment (SASE) and Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). (ANI)
