Sri Lankan Navy rescues seven Indians

Colombo (Sri Lanka), Oct 21 (ANI): The Sri Lankan Navy">Sri Lankan Navy on Saturday rescued a seven member Indian crew from a sinking vessel.

The Navy rescued the seven member India crew from a Maldives-bound Indian merchant vessel, which later on sunk due to some mechanical glith.

Earlier in the day, the Sri Lankan Navy">Sri Lankan Navy apprehended four fishermen and seized one boat belonging to Thangachimadam, a central part of Rameswaram. The fishermen were apprehended near Kachadeevu Island. (ANI)
