A video of the incident that took place on Wednesday has surfaced online where a man is seen holding on for dear life to the bonnet of a white-coloured car that careens through the roads of Indirapuram.
Police have arrested and booked the accused.
Birbahan Singh Pal, the cab driver said he stepped out of his vehicle to confront the accused who started driving and Pal said he jumped on the bonnet as soon as he could to prevent the accused from escaping.
Pal said, “He hit my car from the back and I asked him to pull over. Meanwhile, I also dialled the police. The driver attempted to flee and began to drive away. I ran towards him and asked him to stop but the car hit me and I jumped on to the bonnet".
"He drove the car for two kilometres. I also sustained injuries due to that,” Pal said.
“There was a collision between two cars before. It is a case of road rage. The case has been registered in Indirapuram police station,” Circle Office Aparna Gautam said.
