Upender Singh Rawat named India's next Ambassador to Panama

New Delhi [India], July 19 (ANI): IFS officer Upender Singh Rawat was appointed as India's next Ambassador to Panama on Friday.
He will be succeeding Ravi Thapar, who had joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1983, said a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs.
A 1998-batch IFS officer, Rawat is expected to take up the assignment shortly. (ANI)
