New Delhi, July 14 (ANI): Former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has been summoned by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) for her alleged role in a water tanker scam. ACB Chief M K Meena told media here, "We have issued notice to Sheila Dikshitji for questioning on 26th August in connection with water tanker scam case." Reacting to the ACB summons, Sheila Dikshit told ANI, "Once I receive information, I will definitely abide by it. I had received a letter from ACB saying I'll be summoned in August. Haven't received any info on specific date as yet." Arvind Kejriwal had earlier announced that his government would look into all the alleged corruption cases, including the Delhi Jal Board corruption case that reportedly took place under Sheila Dikshit's watch. Last month, the Congress party had downplayed the ACB's move to register a case against Dikshit, even as Meena maintained that there is evidence of the previous government committing irregularities that caused the state exchequer a loss of around Rs 400 crores.
