Congress fields Manish Tewari from Anandpur Sahib, Scindia from Guna

New Delhi (India), Apr 12 (ANI): The Congress party has fielded its national spokesperson and former Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari from Anandpur Sahib in Punjab.
Former Union Minister and the party's star campaigner Jyotiraditya Scindia will contest from his bastion -- Guna in Madhya Pradesh.
From Sangrur in Punjab, the party has fielded former MLA Kewal Singh Dhillon. Dhillon will take on AAP's sitting MP Bhagwant Mann and SAD’s former Finance Minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa.
Other candidates are Shailendra Patel from Vidisha, Mona Sustani from Rajgarh, Rigzin Spalbar from Ladakh and Shashwat Kedar from Valmiki Nagar in Bihar.
Lok Sabha polls are being held in 7 phases from April 11 to May 19, while the counting of votes will take place on May 23. (ANI)
