Dharmendra Pradhan meets Lebanon, Russia Energy Ministers at WPC

New Delhi [India], July 10 (ANI): Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan met Minister of Energy and Water of Lebanon Cesar Khalil on Monday on the sidelines of 22nd World Petroleum Congress (WPC) Conference in Istanbul. Dharmendra Pradhan also held talks with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak. Pradhan discussed various avenues of Indo-Russia cooperation in Petroleum and Energy Sector including the progress of Russia India Gas Pipeline. During the conference, Pradhan chaired a ministerial session on 'Current Economic Strategies in Indian Oil and Gas Sector' and a plenary session on 'Supply and Demand Challenges for Oil, Gas and Products'. Earlier in the day, Pradhan met U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Energy Ministers of other nations on the sidelines of the event. He also met two performers, who mesmerised the entire international crowd with their classical dance performance. Pradhan will be in Istanbul till July 12. He will also launch an event on Hydrocarbon Exploration and Licensing Policy (HELP) as a part of promoting upcoming oil and gas bidding rounds in India. (ANI)
