Heavy rain disrupts normal life in several parts across India

New Delhi, July 17 (ANI): Heavy downpour is disrupting normal life in several parts of country since last couple of days, however, the national capital has been experiencing major relief with the showers brining down the temperature significantly. In Uttarakhand incessant rainfall is occurring for last three days, resulting in disruption of communication on link roads. In Rajasthan, heavy rains have caused death and destructions. Three persons have been killed in Karuali district which is facing a flood like situation. In Assam, over 300 villages have been inundated in current flood in six districts. Over 76 thousand people have been affected in Golaghat district alone. Jorhat District administration has set up 16 relief camps where around 4 thousand people are taking shelter. (ANI)
