Yavatmal (Maharashtra) [India], Mar 29 (ANI): In a unique way to appease voters, Prahar Janshakti candidate Vaishali Yeddy on Friday started a campaign by distributing milk in front of the liquor shop here. In fact, she is seeking people's votes by promoting ‘liquor ban’.
MLA Bachu Kadu and president of Prahar Janshakti, who unveiled the campaign, said: “In the elections, the contestants are either rich or those who follow nepotism. Workers are the only to do work. People who have money and whose family members are already in politics are getting tickets.”
“That is why we have started this unique campaign by distributing milk in front of a liquor shop. I would like to request the people to vote for us.”, Kadu added.
Yeddy has filed her nomination from Yavatmal Washim Lok Sabha seat. Prahar Janshkati party chose Yeddy as its face to fight for farmers' cause because her husband committed suicide due to the problems plaguing the state's farming community. (ANI)
