Re-shuffle in party amalgamation of experience and youthfulness: Cong

New Delhi [India], May 5 (ANI): The Congress Party on Friday said that during its recent reshuffle, it has kept in mind to include both experienced veterans and the energetic youth. Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said that the grand old party doesn't get rid of its senior leaders but believes in using their unmatched experience to strengthen the party. "The re-shuffle in the congress is an amalgamation of the experience and the youth. In this we have experience of leaders like Ashok Ghelot ji and at the same time we have also give opportunity to young leaders as well," Surjewala told ANI. "Our this approach shows that this is Congress' way of working. We don't reject our senior leaders. We bring in use the experience of our veterans and also give responsibility to the youngsters," he added. The Congress Party yesterday announced the names of 17 new state office bearers, including the appointment of former state minister Sunil Jakhar as the new chief of the party's Punjab unit. Surjewala told media here that the party proposes to make a wave of changes across various states. (ANI)
