Pulwama (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Oct. 15 (ANI): At the time when Kashmir is on the boil due to spiraling civilian unrest over the past over three months, Muslims and Sikhs living in south Pulwama district recently took part in a Kashmiri Pandit girl's marriage. The marriage was done in traditional style and proves once again that the people of Kashmir believe in communal harmony and Insaniyat (Humanity). This celebration of events jointly by Muslims and Kashmiri Pandits has been a tradition in the valley for centuries. Muslims also participated in the traditional music on the eve of the wedding day. Around 90 percent of Pandits have migrated from Kashmir after the outbreak of insurgency in the valley in the late 1980s.(ANI)
