Fayaz Ahmad another local added that the garden will not just be an attraction point for tourists but will become a hub for locals as well. The garden which is set to be completed within a week spreads over 25 kanals of land and has used 13 different varieties of Dahlias overall. The authorities have brought these high quality flowers from outside the state hoping that this garden will become the major attraction for tourists this year. "The main purpose of coming up with this garden is that the flowering period of Tulip is just one month while it's five to six months for Dahlias. "We really appreciate the floriculture department for constructing the Dahlia garden. This will be an attraction point for the tourists as well as provide employment opportunities to the locals," said Abdul Rasheed, a worker of the garden. Presently, a number of workers and gardeners are on job that are sowing thousands of flowers with proper techniques aimed to complete the Dahlia garden propjet at proper time. For the last few years, the floriculture department is always engaged in doing different activities and working hard to maintain the beauty of gardens in the valley and simultaneously also enhancing the revenue possibilities in the state.
