Johannesburg, July 8 (ANI): Ending months of speculation over his future with Ferrari, Finnish racer Kimi Raikkonen has confirmed he will stay with the Italian team until at least next year. Several drivers have been linked with a move to Ferrari to replace Raikkonen, but the announcement has put full stop on all such speculations. Reiterating that he would end his Formula One career with Ferrari, the 36-year-old insisted that he wouldn't have continued his association with the Italian team if he was not motivated, Sport24 reported. Raikkonen won the 2007 F1 championship with Ferrari in his first stint before rejoining from Lotus in 2014. He is currently on level with teammate Sebastian Vettel after nine races this season. (ANI)
