New Delhi [India], Nov 2 (ANI): Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has retained his number one position, while leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has broken into top 10 in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI rankings for bowlers.
Chahal, who scalped a total of five wickets in four games of the recently-concluded five-match ODI series against West Indies, has moved up by three places to enter the top 10 for the first time to sit at the number eight spot jointly with England's Adil Rashid.
Frontline pacer Bumrah, who was called up for the remaining three matches against the West Indies, has retained his number one position with his career-best 841 points.
Meanwhile, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who picked a four-wicket haul to help India register a massive nine-wicket victory in the final ODI, jumped 16 places to sit at number 25 among bowlers.
In the ICC ODI batting rankings, Indian captain Virat Kohli and vice-captain Rohit Sharma are the incumbent number one and two on the list respectively. Kohli, who reached the 10,000-run milestone, slammed three tons in the five-match series against the Caribbean side and retained number one spot, while Sharma reserved his number two spot with 871 points.
India's number 4 Ambati Rayudu, who saved the middle-order of the team, has moved up by 24 places to number 48 with his career-best 553 points, while opener Shikhar Dhawan has slipped down by four spots to Number 9 as he struggled to score runs. (ANI)
