Neymar joins Messi, Suarez in Barca's 100 club

Granada [Spain], April. 3 (ANI): Star striker Neymar has joined the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez to score hundred goals for Barcelona during his side's 4-1 victory against Granada at the Los Carmenes, Granada on Sunday. Neymar completed a century of Barca goals in his 177th match, 11 less than that of Messi, who took 188 games to score the same number of goals. The 25-year-old forward is the third Brazilian player to reach the milestone with the Catalan giants, following in the footsteps of Rivaldo and Evaristo, reports goal.com. Out of 100 goals which Neymar has scored, 64 have come in La Liga, 21 in the Champions League, 14 in the Copa del Rey and one in the Spanish Supercopa. It should be noted that his first goal for the club came against Atletico Madrid in the Supercopa in 2013. His best goal-scoring season came in 2014-15, when he netted 39 times in helping Barca to the treble under Luis Enrique. (ANI)
