Johannesburg, July 21 (ANI): 17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer will return to Perth to represent Switzerland in the mixed-team Hopman Cup for the first time since 2001, the organisers confirmed on Thursday. The Swiss maestro will team up with 16th-ranked Belinda Bencic at an event that serves as a warm-up for the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the season. Reflecting on his decision, Federer said that the Hopman Cup would be a perfect tournament for him to start the season, while praising the stadium and the atmosphere in Perth, Sport24 reported. Federer had won the Hopman Cup with Martina Hingis in 2001. (ANI)
