Sports fraternity extends greetings on `Eid-ul-Fitr`

New Delhi [India], June 16 (ANI): As the entire country is celebrating the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr, the sports fraternity has come in unison to extend their warm wishes on the auspicious occasion.
From legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar to former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif, all took to their social media handles to pour their wishes to the people on the occasion.
Taking to his Twitter handle Tendulkar said, "May the blessings of the almighty fill your life with health and happiness, and open doors to success and prosperity, now and always. Eid Mubarak!"



Kaif, on the other hand, posted a picture of himself in Dargah while wishing everyone a very happy and peaceful Eid.
"Wish you all a very happy and peaceful Eid. May Allah accept your good deeds, forgive your transgressions, And ease the suffering of all around the globe. #EidMubarak!, " he said.

Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the culmination of the fasting month of Ramzan, is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide.
The festival is celebrated on the first day of Shawwal, the 10th month of Islamic lunar calendar. (ANI)
