It will also help one save time with smart messaging tools, such as quick replies that provide fast answers to frequently asked questions, greeting messages that introduce customers to a business, and away messages that let them know one is busy.
Further, the new app will also review simple metrics like the number of messages read to ascertain statistics.
Over time, WhatsApp will also enable some businesses to have 'Confirmed Accounts' once it has been confirmed that the account phone number matches the business phone number.
Harpreet Sharda owns a video production and graphic design company in India. This three-year-old business uses WhatsApp to stay in constant communication with its customers and to send previews of their projects.
