Celebrate World Health Day with these five personal health companion apps

New Delhi [India], Apr. 07 (ANI): The World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated every year on April 7, under the sponsorship of the World Health Organisation (WHO), as well as other related institutions.

Here is a list of five Yoga apps that can help one promote a better lifestyle and encourage positive change:

1. nexGTv's Yoga App

If you have ever thought of learning yoga from the experts and doing it like a pro, then look no further. nexGTv, India's largest subscription-led app, has announced the launch of the nexGTv Yoga app.

Designed by Sadhguru, this app is based on the science of Upa-Yoga which is focused on physical and psychological benefits derived from the discipline.

All one needs to do is take out five minutes every day to practice from a set of seven, five minute Upa-Yoga practices. The app also offers guidelines and explanatory videos to help one do the asanas right.

5. Office Yoga

For those stuck with a sedentary work profile, the free for Android Office Yoga app by Guru Inc. offers simple, 10-minute yoga workout lessons which can be done midday or in between breaks.

A cute little monkey demonstrates the easy-to-do stretches and poses, which will help one keep fit even at work without disturbing the colleagues. (ANI)
