Davos [Switzerland], January 27 (ANI): United States President Donald Trump on Friday, taking his "America First" foreign policy to the world's business and political elite, highlighted that "America is open for business".
"The world is witnessing the resurgence of a strong and prosperous America. There has never been a better time to hire, to build, to invest and to grow in the United States. America is open for business and we are competitive once again", the US President said in his address at the World Economic Forum (WEF).
"We cannot have a free and open trade if some countries exploit the system at the expense of others," Trump added, "We support free trade, but it needs to be fair and it needs to be reciprocal."
Trump is the first sitting US president to attend the Davos summit since Bill Clinton went in 2000, according to the reports.
