London [UK], Feb 24 (ANI): Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder leader Altaf Hussain has said that all provinces in Pakistan except Punjab have been occupied by the country's army.
In an exclusive interview with Bolan Times this week, Altaf Hussain said, "Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Kashmir part of Pakistan are being occupied by the army."
"Because Pakistan Army has a heavy presence of personnel from Punjab, this is the reason only Punjab province can be considered patriotic. The patriotism of the people from Balochistan, Sindhi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, or even from Kashmir is always suspicious. They are blamed to be foreign agents or traitors," he said.
He also requested all Baloch and Pashtuns leaders to choose their representatives and send them to MQM so that they "can together knock the door of the United Nations and ask the UN for a referendum. If the people decided that they need independence, then it will be the UN's responsibility."
Hussain said, "We tried our level best to be a part of Pakistan and that was the reason in past, we participated in Parliamentary politics and became a coalition partner with almost all Governments but we did not get anything and we are assured we will not get anything. So self-determination is the last choice. All oppressed nationals should together ask for self-determination from Pakistan."
MQM chief also criticised China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), stating that Islamabad has given the Balochistan to China.
"Pakistan burned down many Baloch houses and let China occupy Balochistan. Saudi Arabia has also been added to the list as Islamabad wants to divide Balochistan between Beijing and Riyadh," Hussain said.
He added, "CPEC is not Pakistan's development rather it is a recipe for disaster for Baloch, Pashtun and Sindhi provinces. All three must understand that this CPEC will destroy them. Baloch and Pashtuns must demand self-determination. Otherwise, they both become slaves to China and Saudi Arabia."
Terming Pakistan as the 'centre for terrorism and terrorist training in the world', MQM chief said: "If something happens in the US, UK, France, and Germany, the footsteps can be traced back to Pakistan."
"Islamabad, in the name of religion, has been spreading hatred around the globe. People are being trained and brainwashed for suicide bombing luring them with the idea of 'hoors' (virgin girls) waiting for them in Paradise," he said.
He further accused Pakistan of banning his speeches in the nation because he is informing the world of its activities.
Stating that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is a cricketer and not a politician, Altaf Hussain said that Khan is merely a Pakistan army's stooge as he cannot be a councillor. (ANI)
