New Delhi [India], Oct 22 (ANI): India on Monday strongly condemned Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's tweet, where he accused Indian security forces of allegedly killing innocent Kashmiris.
In response to a media query regarding Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan tweet, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said that instead of making comments on India's internal affairs, Pakistan Prime Minsiter should look inwards and address its own issues.
"The remarks made by Pakistan's Prime Minister in his tweet today are deeply regrettable. Instead of making comments on India's internal affairs, Pakistan leadership should look inwards and address its own issues. Pakistan would serve the interest of the people of the region by taking credible action against all kind of support to terrorism and terror infrastructure from all territories under its control rather than supporting and glorifying terrorists and terror activities against India and its other neighbours. Pakistan's deceitful stand on dialogue, while supporting terror and violence, stands exposed to the whole world," said Kumar.
The MEA's remarks came after Pakistan's Prime Minister Khan took to Twitter and wrote, "Strongly condemn the new cycle of killings of innocent Kashmiris by the Indian security forces. It is time India realise it must move to resolve the Kashmir dispute through dialogue in accordance with the UNSC resolutions & the wishes of the Kashmiri people."

Pakistan Prime Minister's statement came a day after six civilians were killed after an explosive went off at an encounter site in Kulgam district of South Kashmir.
The incident took place when some civilians rushed to the encounter site despite security personnel prohibiting them citing the search and combing operation at the spot.
Just then the explosives, laid by the terrorist, went off killing six civilians and injuring several others in the southern district of Kulgam in Jammu and Kashmir. (ANI)
