New York [USA], Jan. 24 (ANI): White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has said that President Donald Trump has yet not given any orders or indications to stop investigations into Russia's alleged role in interfering with the U.S. presidential election. When asked if the president has spoken to intelligence agencies about the Russian connections, Spicer said at a press briefing, "He had not." He said that Trump hasn't given any indication plans to stop the investigations, reports the CNN. Earlier this month, after continually rubbishing reports of Russian involvement in the hacking, Trump for the first time conceded that Moscow had carried out cyber attacks against the two major political parties during the presidential election while adding that Russia is not the only nation that hacks U.S. targets. He also accused Democrats of not having sufficient cyber-security programs. Also, he had rejected unsubstantiated reports that Moscow had gathered compromising personal and financial information about him that could be used for extortion. (ANI)
