Washington D.C. [USA], July 25 (ANI): U.S. President Donald Trump has put forth the possibility of replacing Attorney General Jeff Sessions with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Citing a report in Axios, the Hill said that Trump proposed the idea in internal discussions about bringing his staunch ally into the folds of his administration. Last week, Trump had expressed anger at Sessions for recusing himself from the Justice Department's investigation into Russian meddling in the presidential election. Trump, during an interview, suggested that Sessions's decision to recuse himself was "unfair" to him and that he would've likely picked another person to lead the Justice Department if he had known Sessions would recuse himself. In a tweet on Monday, Trump went after Sessions, calling him "beleaguered" and questioning why the attorney general and federal investigators are not looking into Hillary Clinton for her "crimes" and ties to Russia. "So why aren't the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillarys crimes & Russia relations? (sic)," he tweeted. (ANI)
