New Delhi [India], June 15 (ANI): A false alarm - reports of gunshots in the vicinity - triggered a lockdown at the Travis Air Base in California on Wednesday. "Travis Air Force Base is currently responding to a real world security incident. More details will be released as they become available. The public is being asked to stay away from the base to ensure emergency responders can respond accordingly," the airbase said in its initial statement. However, it later updated that the base emergency personnel responded to reports of gun shots at the Base Exchange and it was determined to be a false alarm. Following this, the lockdown was lifted. <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FTravisAirForceBase%2Fposts%2F1440155279397776&width=500" width="500" height="262" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowTransparency="true"></iframe> "Travis Air Force Base emergency personnel responded to reports of gun shots at the Base Exchange.
