29 ISIS loyalists killed in separate air strikes in eastern Afghanistan

Kabul [Afghanistan], Sept. 20 (ANI): At least 29 loyalists of the ISIS terrorist group were killed in separate air strikes in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province. The provincial police commandment in a statement said that the militants were killed in Haska Mina, Kot and Achin districts, reports the Khaama Press. While the 11 militants were killed during the first airstrike in Sepai and Wech Kot areas of Kot district, three more militants were killed during the second airstrike in Karkani area of Achin district. Fifteen others were killed Papin area of Haska Mina district. So far, the loyalists of the terror group have not commented regarding the report. Meanwhile, the local security officials have said that the local residents and the Afghan forces did not suffer any casualties during the operations. A major clearance operation against the loyalists of ISIS terrorist group in Nangarhar province was launched around two months ago and the operations are still being conducted in the districts the terrorist groups are conducting insurgency activities.
