Dhaka [Bangladesh], Mar. 5 (ANI): The High Court on Sunday fixed March 8 as the date for passing order on a revision petition filed by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia seeking its order on the trial court concerned to transfer the Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case against her to another court. The bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Shahidul Karim set the date after concluding hearing arguments on the petition, reports the Daily Star. On February 8, the BNP chief filed the petition with the High Court also seeking a stay on the trial proceedings against her. But Judge Abu Ahmed Jamadar of the Special Judge's Court-3 of Dhaka rejected the no confidence petition. In the revision petition, Khaleda also challenged the lower court's rejection order. The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case in 2008 accusing Khaleda, her eldest son Tarique, residing in the UK since 2008, and four others for misappropriating over Tk 2.10 lakh that was received as grant for orphans from a foreign bank.
