Hundreds of Egyptian security personnel have been killed in militant attacks across Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, which has remained the epicenter of a deadly militant insurgency since mid-2013, when Mohamed Morsi, Egypt's first freely-elected president, was ousted in a military coup. Egypt is experiencing wave of terrorist attacks which target the security men since the ouster of the Morsi in response to mass protest against his one-year in rule.
