In trade and investment, the two countries will encourage trade and facilitate investment in both directions, such as Sweden's investment in India through 'Invest India' and Indian investment in Sweden through 'Business Sweden', according to a statement by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
Both sides will encourage the work of the India-Sweden Business Leaders Round Table (ISBLRT) to further strengthen India-Sweden business cooperation within inter-alia smart cities, digitisation, skills development and defence, and to move its relations, ideas, partnerships and recommendations forward.
In health, New Delhi and Stockholm will enhance collaboration on the priority issues such as health research, pharmacovigilance and anti-microbial resistance, under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of healthcare and public health.
The Prime Minister is currently on a five-day visit to Sweden, the United Kingdom and Germany. (ANI)
