Washington D.C. [USA], Feb 11 (ANI): The US Senator from Minnesota and Presidential candidate, Amy Klobuchar, slammed US President Donald Trump's statement where he mused that she looked like a "snowman" by the end of her campaign announcement.
"Well, it happened again. Amy Klobuchar announced that she is running for President, talking proudly of fighting global warming while standing in a virtual blizzard of snow, ice and freezing temperatures. Bad timing. By the end of her speech, she looked like a Snowman (woman)," Trump tweeted on Sunday.
To this, Klobuchar replied, "Science is on my side, @realDonaldTrump. Looking forward to debating you about climate change (and many other issues). And I wonder how your hair would fare in a blizzard?"

The US President has taken to his Twitter to acknowledge his competitors for the 2020 Presidential elections. He had previously mocked US Senator Elizabeth Warren, calling her 'Pocahontas' again, when she announced her Presidential campaign on February 9.
Klobuchar has vowed to rejoin the Paris Climate accord, within the first 100 days if she is voted into power. The United States had pulled out of the accord in 2017 after Trump assumed Presidency following his win in the 2016 Presidential elections.
He has voiced his scepticism towards climate change on many occasions, with his recent tweet, asking "global waming" to make a return for the polar vortex-hit midwest attracting the ire of environmentalists and netizens alike. Many have claimed that Trump is "ignorant" about climate change, with his 2012 tweet about global warming being a Chinese creation to render US manufacturing as "non-competitive," adding to the netizen's belief.
