Washington DC [United States] January 20 (ANI): The United States Supreme Court has announced that it would decide the legality of President Donald Trump's ban on travellers from six mostly-Muslim">Muslim nations.
According to the Hill, the SC concurred to hear two cases from the state of Hawaii and the International Refugee Assistance Project challenging the previous order, which banned nationals from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Sudan and Yemen for 90-days and excluded all refugees for 120 days.
But the court ultimately tossed out the cases after the order expired. The justices said the issue was now moot.
The travel ban was one of US President Donald Trump's first official acts since taking office last year. (ANI)
