Orissa Higher Court on Thursday quashed the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Bharatiya Vikash Parishad seeking a CBI investigation into the broad-daylight murder of State Health Minister, Naba Das by police personnel in Jharsuguda last month.
The Crime Branch investigating the minister's murder had sought the court's permission to conduct narco analysis and polygraph tests of prime accused Das.
ADG Murugesan said, "The court had ordered a polygraph test and a narcotics test of the accused. Regarding the same, we filed an application in the Forensic Science Laboratory in Rohini, Delhi."
