New Delhi, Jan 02 (ANI): With the arrival of New Year, various smartphone companies have lined up new launches for their customers. We bring to you details of new phones set to arrive within the next few months. Samsung is expected to launch Galaxy S9 and S9+ this year. After various schematics were leaked of the phones, it is almost confirmed. Samsung Galaxy S9 will supposedly sport a 5.80-inch touch screen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2960 pixels. For S9+, Samsung will not be placing both lenses horizontally, like in the Note 8 but vertically in the centre of the back panel. The phone will reportedly have a 6.20-inch touch screen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2960 pixels. Both the phones are rumoured to run Android 8.0 and come with a 12-megapixel rear and an 8-megapixel (MP) front camera. Unlike some early reports, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will not be featuring an under-screen fingerprint sensor. After Qualcomm announced Snapdragon 845 processor in December, 2017, the company disclosed that their chipset will power the OnePlus 6. The Chinese company earlier released the OnePlus 5T with a 6-inch screen. The same tall-screen design is expected to make it to its successor OnePlus 6. Having a 5.30-inch touch screen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels and 64GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded, the Nokia 9 is rumoured to feature Android's latest Oreo 8.0. With 4GB of RAM, the phone is anticipated to be powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The Nokia 9 will apparently have a 22MP rear and a 12MP front camera. Xiaomi Mi 7 will be one of the first devices to sport Snapdragon 845 chipset, and is expected to be released in February. The device will come with a 6.1 inch display, 64 GB storage, 16 MP camera dual-camera lens, 3350 mAh battery, and 6 GB ram. Mi 7 is rumoured to be priced at approximately Rs 26,600. Apple is reportedly going to launch three iPhone X models this year. They will be different variants of the iPhone X and will sport the same design as the current generation iPhone X. Out of the three iPhones will feature an LCD-TFT display instead of OLED, which will supposedly bring the prices down. This particular device will also allegedly have a comparatively low-resolution. The devices will have a 6.1-inch screen LCD-TFT display, 6.5 inch OLED screen and a 5.8 inch OLED screen, respectively.
