Clean, green Shillong becomes favorite among tourists

Shillong (Meghalaya), Aug 05 (ANI): Cleanliness is one of the most important features that attracts tourists to any place. Shillong has acquired that attraction by keeping itself clean and green. The city has maintained its clean environs by putting dustbins everywhere and maintaining its greenery. The clean environment gives tourists fresh air to breathe in as against the polluted air of metropolitan cities. Praising its environs, one of the tourists said, “In terms of cleanliness the area is very clean. Everything is well maintained here without an unhygienic condition. At every few distance dustbins are provided.” Another one added, “Shillong is a very clean place and people here are cleanliness loving people. If we compare it to other areas, Shillong is very clean city.
