Mumbai, Nov 23 (ANI): The former chief of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) Pahlaj Nihalani, on Thursday, expressed his views on ‘Padmavati’ being cleared by British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) for the UK audience. While talking to ANI, Nihalani said it's illegal to export a film before getting clearance in India. ‘Padmavati’, which has been facing protests and bans in India, has been cleared by British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) without any cuts for the UK audience. The film's producers, however, said the period drama will not be screened in British theatres before it is cleared in India.
