17th Senior National Soft Tennis Championship concludes in Srinagar

Srinagar (J&K), Mar 9 (ANI): The J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association (JKASTA) in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, Departments of Tourism organized the 17th Senior National Soft Tennis Championships (Men &Women) in Srinagar. The championship which began on March 4 at Multi-Sports Activity Centre, Gindun Stadium Rajbagh in Srinagar concluded on March 8. Around 400 soft tennis players, both boys and girls from 25 states including Delhi, Pondicherry, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Jammu and Kashmir participated. “It’s a lovely and friendly environment here. Through this game, we are developing cultural exchange and there are many participants from the other states. An activity like this promotes the tourism of Kashmir,” said a player Yawar-ul- Islam.
