2 suspected LeT militants arrested from J&K’s Poonch

Poonch (J&K), Nov 12 (ANI): The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) police along with other teams have arrested two militants from Poonch who they suspect belong to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). The police had launched an operation after it received information about the militants. During the operation the police traced one vehicle in which they found the two militants from Kashmir. After search and interrogation, the police recovered one AK 56 rifle and magazines with 60 rounds. Rajiv Omprakash Pande, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Poonch said, “We recovered four more grenades after further interrogation. Prima facie this is LeT module working toward shifting these weapons to the Kashmir Valley. FIR is registered in the case and an SIT is formed.”
