6 arrested from MP’s Jhabua for possessing over Rs 41 lakh in old currency notes

Jhabua (Madhya Pradesh), Jan 21 (ANI): 6 people were arrested in Madhya Pradesh’s Jhabua for possessing old currency notes worth Rs 41, 50,000, the police said. The arrests took place after authorities got information from their source that some people, having banned currency notes in huge amount, were standing near the Ambe Mata Mandir in Jhabua. Relevant charges have been made against the arrested, and Income Tax officials have been apprised of the development, said Vinit Jain, SP, Jhabua district.
