AP IT Minister Nara Lokesh attends Technology Sabha programme

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Aug 09 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Information Technology (IT) Minister Nara Lokesh attended the 24th edition of ‘Technology Sabha’ programme in Visakhapatnam. Speaking at the event, Lokesh said, “We are running for the start-up state. The intended goals should be achieved by 15 per cent. At present we have achieved 12 per cent growth. We use technology in Andhra Pradesh. This Cabinet is running real time governance with real time information. About 10 lakhs of Internet of Things (IoT) equipment are used. The quality of the water and the quality of the roads are used for technology. With Data Analytics, technology use, despite 18 per cent less rainfall, we have grown by 24 per cent in agriculture. CCMS technology is being used to monitor LED lights in villages. We are going to conduct ground tests through the use of drones with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.”
