Army Chief lauds efforts of ASHA faculty to bring smiles to specially-abled children

New Delhi, Dec 15 (ANI): Chief of the Army Staff General Bipin Rawat, along with his wife Madhulika Rawat, interacted with specially-abled children of the ASHA School at the Army House in the national capital on Friday. A total of 108 students, 22 teachers and 19 non-teaching and supporting staff met General Rawat, who was seen ecstatic during the programme. General Rawat complimented the school principal and the staff for noble efforts to groom the specially-abled students. A dog show, various games and a dance session brought smiles on the faces of participating children. Bipin Rawat and his wife also interacted with representatives of 'VISHWAS: Employment Assistance Centre', a skilling centre for children, who pass out from the ASHA schools. ASHA Schools work under the banner of Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA).
