Artist keeps bamboo culture alive in J&K’s Udhampur

Udhampur (Jammu and Kashmir), Feb 23 (ANI): An artist kept bamboo culture alive in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur city. Ravi Kumar, resident of Udhampur is engaged in this profession from last 28 years. He is asking people to boycott plastic as well as Chinese goods. He is also teaching youngsters the bamboo art. He makes ships, fruit tray, pen stand, flower pots and many others things from bamboo. Speaking to ANI, he said that department organised many tours for them to explore their talent and he attended the same. He also added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government helped and supported them a lot in this initiative.
