Arun Jaitley inaugurates ‘Hunar Haat’ to provide market for minority craftsmen

New Delhi, Jan 13 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Sunday inaugurated the ‘Hunar Haat’ programme in New Delhi which will provide minority craftsmen, artisans platform to showcase their skills. This would also become a marketing platform for the skilled persons from minority section. Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi was also present at the event. Talking about the programme, Jaitley said, “India’s minority group has huge talent of building world class crafts. Branding and marketing of this talent is important for them so that they can take its economic advantage. For this reason, the Minority Affairs Ministry took this initiative. This projection of this initiative has been taken nationwide.” Naqvi said, “This event began in Delhi from yesterday and Arun Jaitley has inaugurated this event. This is an important part of government’s Make in India, Stand-Up India.”
